This charger has the built-in circuitry for charging different sizes of rechargeable batteries efficiently.
A blocking diode is built into the circuit, thus prevent the reverse flow of electricity from the battery to the solar panel during the hours of darkness, or when the sun is not available.
The unit is water resistant and simple to use.
HOURS OF CHARGE (TYPICAL):
AAA (UM-4) 2 batteries 1-2 hours
AA (UM-3) 2 batteries 3-4 hours
C (UM-2) 2 batteries 6-8 hours
D (UM-1) 2 batteries 9-12 hours
Batteries are not included.
We recommend that you purchase the highest quality NiCad batteries available.
You may want to consider having one unit for each type of battery that you have to recharge.
