"N95" is a government efficiency rating that means the mask blocks about 95 percent of particles that are 0.3 microns in size or larger.

The N95 rating meets the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines for protection against tuberculosis and anthrax spores, as well as the most foreseeable bio-weaponry, which ranges in size from 1.0 to 5.0 microns. So the N95’s are more than capable of preventing their inhalation.

A Cool Flow exhalation valve reduces heat and humidity build-up inside the respirator.  M Nose clip helps provide a good seal against the face.

This mask can also be worn at home, outdoors or at work for any application where inhaling dust or airborne particles, of any kind, is a problem.

in handbag, briefcase or backpack.

Do Not Use for, Gases, vapors, including those present in paint spray operations, oil aerosols, asbestos, lead, arsenic, cadmium, methylenedianiline, sandblasting or aerosol concentrations that exceed 10 times the OSHA PEL or applicable regulations, whichever is lower. This respirator does not supply oxygen.
